Purpose of Thread!
The purpose of this thread is to spread the word about all the great overrides that really make nwn look so much better. This thread is designed so that those who are newer to nwn or never really bothered to use overrides previous have access to a list of great overrides to use while playing our beloved EFU.
There will be a list at the bottom of this post, I will try my very best to keep adding all of your suggestions to it and links so that anybody clicking into this thread only has to look at the first page if they know what they want.
Thread Rules
1. No Chatter - Please refrain from posting things like "this is a great override, or I don't like this override or anything at all other than suggestions for overrides. This is so that the thread doesn't get overly cluttered.
2. Don't suggest overrides that have already been suggested! Please please please CHECK the list before posting!
I think thats pretty much it for rules.
What is an override?
An override is something that changes what an object looks like in nwn. It will only change the object for the person who has he override. They usually consist of things which could have been made better in nwn but weren't. Such as hands with fingers, colorized icons etcetera. They are not required to play but they can really make nwn look really cool!
The List
Feats, Spells and ability color icon override! Suggested by Naga
Hands and Feet Suggested by Ommadawn
RavenLoft GUI Suggested by Naga
Crash Fix (use if you crash alot due to new hotu animations) Suggested by Dopson
Soundsets! Suggested by Hooksword and others
Gnomish Log Rotator Suggested by MrGrendal
Aenea Transparent GUI Suggested by MrGrendal

I'll start. The colour override for spell abilities and feats is just awesome. It really makes the gui look nice. Even as a warrior due to the many different magical items on efu you will see many colourful things on that quickbar of yours.
The pure deep red on evil and necromancy spells looks really really nifty and fitting, just like the goldeny yellow colour on healing and restorative spells.
Seriously if your sick of dull old grey feats spells and abilities check this override out!

I use that override as well, it's really well done.
Another favourite of mine is the hands override I picked up on the Amia PW site. (www.amiaworld.net). It's only small (about 1MB) and gives everyone proper hands which, while it seems a minor thing, is easly correctable.

Yet aother reccomendation from me is the RavanLoft GUI it makes your screen look awesome and suits efu well. It sure beats the hell out of the standard GUI.
For those who don't know the gui is the frams around text the scroll bars certain icons in your character sheet etc.

For those who hate the "new" HotU walking, fighting, etc. animations as much as I:

A way to get back the good old original NWN animations. This override helped me to reduce the amount of crashes I had, since there was some kind of a glitch with the HotU animations at some point at least. I'm not sure if that's been fixed already though.

That is a very good override, Dopson. It's a must-have since there is actually a very serious glitch with the HotU animations that can cause you to crash when someone comes out of hiding to sneak attack.
Besides, the cross-country skiing of HotU-animated female characters does look pretty awful...

Just to clarify. As far as I can tell, this glitch does not affect everyone, so it's not quite "must have". Useful for people who crash from that glitch, but not so good if you don't like the old animations (like me).

What's the thing that makes some people crash from this and not others, though? Even if I didn't know that the fix helps me, I'd still download that just to be sure. But yeah, if you absolutely love the new animations for whatever reason and haven't been experiencing untimely crashes in combat situations, Fish is right.

I use Kaiyru's hands (overrides hand models) to remove those blocky hands (for normal phenotypes only), i was using a bow override to add strings but 1.67 has them in now anyway.
I use a soundset override (which most do) which allows you to use voice sets of any NPC, making a character with a different voice set will be heard by anyone. (it just unlocks voice sets already in the game)
I was also using an override (not sure if it's still active in 1.67) that replaced a lot of dropped objects models with shapes other than bags (like books)
I was looking for any overrides that replaced DEFAULT heads with higher poly/better versions (with the same theme) but not sure if anyone has gone to that trouble.
And I'm still using ragnarok's alternate combat animation overrides however they dont work with a few things like robed human with shield + weapon.
Dwarven female's heads float above their bodies too.
I was looking for any overrides that REPLACED DEFAULT heads with higher poly/better versions (with the same theme) but not sure if anyone has gone to that trouble.

Please post the voice overide. I had a good one, but when I redid my computer I lost it. That sounds similar to what I had

I'd like that dropped object models override if you can find it and it still works with the current version.

Thread necromancy ftw! I keep coming back to this thread whenever I build a new rig or have to reinstall, because the 2 or 3 overrides I do use (other than the EfU domains etc) are all in here. The only thing that isn't - and isn't technically an override, just a neat chat log rotator for NWN - is the Gnomish Log Rotator. Made to rename and thus keep your logs, since NWN overwrites the old log by default. Since a search didn't show it listed on the forums, I thought this would be a fitting place to add it.
Edit: Thought this also had the GUI I used in it, but it's another one. I like the World of Aenea GUI, has translucent windows and is generally less obtrusive imo.

I just want to take a moment to plug the scripts I came up with based on Snoteye's work as an alternative to such programs as the gnomish log rotator.
You can find both our scripts here on the forums.
https://efupw.com/efu1-forum/topic/60/6023/chat-logging/index.html
Two versions, one slightly more automated than the other. Please be certain to read the instructions, it takes a modicum of effort to configure. PM any questions directly to me.
Enjoy.
