More stacked mail for Breen at the Lair

another vile is drained quickly and the glass bottle is tossed to the floor adding to the growing pile of empty flasks

Dr. Breen, it has been some time since Thard Harr has blessed me with being in your presence. Nature smiles on you I am certain, yet I can't help but wonder where you have been.

During a feeding session, I discovered a most curious dagger on the persons of one of The Babys meals. Webs and spiders adorned the blade. It was not an ordinary mans dagger but something ceremonial I believe though I am no expert on such matters. Still, it was a wonderous artifact.

I met up shortly with Mr. Zau and delivered the dagger to him. He seemed to question how this blade surfaced and held fast to it tucking it away in his belongings. Our meeting was short and brief.

I grow more addicted to these damned potions Dr. Breen. Mr. Potter suggests that I have two states or personalities. My own supply of these drinks is very low. Yet when I drink these, I do not recall my condition prior or after consumption.

Which reminds me before this potion fades Dr. Breen. Mr. Zau asked me to convey a message to you about our search. He told me to tell you........

yet again the potion wears down

Uncle Zow! Rumnar tells you! Colored Shamon, Many Colored Robes no not gots Rock Breener! Uncle Zow say Colored Robes not gots Rock!

*the following is left inside the lair*

to my associates, Rumnar (if he has the liquid intelligence to digest this) and Potter:

I apologize for my recent short term absence. Apparently you all have been quite busy without me. First, I would like to congratulate you on your initiative in moving forward with this project. I am glad that I have invested my trust, and the overall evolution of the underdark, with motivated individuals.

I unfortunately must temper my praise with a small word of warning. Do not overfeed the baby. If the baby overgrows its physical features, it will grow too great for its own exoskeleton, and it will molt early, which will have an adverse affect on its overall health. I would allow our elven associate to take more control with feeding. His activities will provide adequate sustenance, but will also be spaced out enough so that the baby does not overfeed, and perhaps become more concerned with feeding than its health would need.

With that out of the way, I will make sure both of you have keys to the facility in the coming days. I would rather just the three of us have those keys. Until the time comes for our group to expand, and to the extent that is necessary, keeping the keys close to our chest is important.

I am still in the overall coordination steps of the larger scheme of our plans. I have some other ideas I might want to pursue in the meantime. If intruders come into the lair, see if you can handle them yourselves, or at least defend the gate in an animal form. Leave feeding the baby as a course of last resort, unless I say otherwise.

On the terms of finance, I am working to find a supplier than can work with us. Perhaps if we were to make an overture to Fort Mur, supplies might be easier to get out of town without worrying about needless questioning. I left a bad taste in their mouth, but if either of you would contact them in my name, offering a sum of cash and a guarantee of bulk purchases as incentive, we might be able to benefit from it without sacrificing security.

I will see you soon. Potter, if Rumnar is with you, try to explain this to him.

Breen.

Breen,

I understood all and would like to know the name of one that i might contact at Fort Mur. Also, a list of supplies that we would want to obtain would work. All is running smoothly and i look forward to the upcoming days.

Potter

Pen a letter on my behalf. Offer them a reasonable yet decent sum.

for supplies, i can forsee the need for healing, invisbility, seeing invisibility, protection from evil, protection from good, restoration potions, haste potions, and any barkskin, shielding, or blurring potions they might be able to sell. Anything you can think of, add to this list.

Breen
