Spellguard information on Vampires Vampires:

Some form of undead. Vampirisim is ma disease, contracting it from an infected victim. Usually vampires kill like most enemies. Unfortunately if the victim survives, he will turn into a vampire. The victim must always obey the master. If the master dies, it goes to the next one by date.

Vampires are very strong and nimble. Will take many men to bring one down and requires plenty of precautions. Bringing it down may not kill it. Vampires may turn themselves whenever they want into gas and fly off back to their coffin.

Can be killed by stake through heart. Can only travel a few miles in gas form. coffin should be near by. Vampires also can not cross streaming water.
