I must apologise for not finding you, and leaving such an impersonal note.

I hope to see you soon and apologise in person, as the mace in question is no longer in my possession. Hours before receiving your letter, I made a gift of the mace to a newly arrived priestess of Torm that had appeared literally naked and penniless in town.

I know swords are not popular amoung our stout folk, but if you are interested, I still have such a blade with similar healing properties I'd be willing to pass on at minimal cost. In fact, if you want the sword, I will give it to you as a sign of my regret of the circumstances, and my well wishes toward you.
