*Letter delivered to and addressed to House of Light *

To the House,

I've spoken intermittently with several of you about helping your cause. Recently I've gained the ability to create divine wands of various powers. One such wand that I can create can cast 25 divine blessings that can knit together the wound inflicted by all but the most vicious swings of the club or sword.

However, I do not have the funding to create as many as the good people of Sanctuary need. If the House has an interest in this or any other potion or wand construction, please contact me as I'd be overjoyed at using my divine knowledge to help the citizens of Sanctuary.

Secondly, who was hired to repair and or build the wonderful statues of the various dieties your house represents? I'd be interested in contracting that party to do some work for Tornbeard Hall. I've yet to visit the house, but Craddoc tells me that you may have a statue of the Soul Forger himself in your House? If so, I'd love to see such a sight and to pay my respects.

Best regards, Faenor Rollo Stoneshield Tornbeard Hall Grunstubble Mines

Master Stoneshield,

The good Dwarves of the Hall and the House have always shared a good relationship and I am glad that this relationship can continue.

The House always welcomes help from any that serve the Gods of Light and are willing to help in the work of the House to bring a palce of worship and a safe haven for those who are poor and in need.

I have been absent for a period of time and am not sure if a Statue of the Soul Forger will be there - if this has been overlooked we would be proud to have the Dwarves of Tornbeard Hall present the House of Light with such a statue for the comfort of all Dwarves who would seek a place of peace and prayer.

Councillor Bhast is the gentleman that employed the construction firms and has also given generously to fund the rebuilding costs. He would be your best port of call for any construction works.

I would be intersted if you could forward a list of materials or cost for the construction of such wands as you mentioned so that we can look at raising the necessary funds.

Go in Peace Brother,

Chell Kantalith Priest of Torm

Brother Kantalith,

Thank you for your prompt response. I will certainly speak with Councilor Bhast regarding the creation and emplacement of the works I mentioned in my previous letter.

I also have recently developed the skill to craft wonderful wands that can cure relatively minor wounds, those that are not life-threatening but still in need of tending. This item can be made quite cheaply and would be a boon to other priests, paladins and possibly even woodsman or minstrels with some skill in the casting of divine blessings. I'd also like to note that I can make such wands that can cure wounds of varying severity, and my research leads me to believe that soon I'll be able to craft a wand imbued with the power to cure some of the most critical wounds that you may need to treat.

It seems likely that I can also create items that can cure disease, neutralize the effects of foul poisons, erase blindness, restore vitality and strength lost due to heinous attack and many other maladies. As I said, I currently do not have the funding to pursue this research, and if you or Luminary Mylin have need of my service in these matters, I'm quite willing to provide such for the good of Sanctuary.

On another happy note, a notable member of the Spellguard whose title escapes me at the moment, one Michael de la Ray, has informed me that you are to be or have recently made a life commitment to another.

I would be most honored if you allow me to officiate, or at least to participate at the joyous occaisson of your blessed union with your beloved. If you have in fact already become one through a sanctioned ceremony of your faith or church, you have my heartfelt congratulations. I'd love to meet with the two of you and bestow further blessings upon you and your paramour.

You may be aware that Faenors are well-regarded for creating and adminstering tasteful and well-received ceremonies for such a wonderful event. I can assure you of a top-quality and deeply satisfying event should you allow me to participate in this greatest of life commitments.

Furthermore, if you know of any other couples considering a holy union at some point in the future, I would be honored if you would inform them that my services are available to them as I've offered them to you.

Congratulations to you for pledging yourself to another, and in doing so, in bringing a ray of joy and love to this trying place known as the Underdark.

Best wishes to you and yours, Faenor Rollo Stoneshield Tornbeard Hall Grunstubble Mines

Brother Stoneshield,

I thankyou for your kind words and thoughts and know that Shadila and myself look forward to receiving your additional blessings.

Our wedding was conducted over a week ago under the guidance of a very close personal friend to both of use - Eowung Priestess of Eliastree.

We will certainly keep you in mind for the creation of the equipment needed in our healing endeavors and look forward to seeing you as a regular guest in the House when the doors open. I do not know if we can set as fine a table as the Dwarves are reputed to do but hopefully you will not find our hospitality lacking.

The Gods Keep you safe.

Chell
