Every so often, the "new posts" flag seems to stick even after I've read the posts in a thread. This is extremely frustrating, because I try to be meticulous about reading everything that gets posted on the forums, but it's simply impossible to even hope to do so with this sort of bug. Fix please!

I have completely opposite thing happening, the posts that should be labeled new often aren't, and I miss some posts I should read.

Given that there are so many other problems with the forum, and website in general, this just could be one of the many weird problems that will have to get fixed eventually.

However, there's a chance it isn't that, and it may simply be related to how you are browsing around. Do the new post flags -never- go away for you? If you use the back button, sometimes the page does not reload and it only takes the one from cache, which will not have the properly updated 'new post' flags stored. Ideal navigation is done using only the navigation links on the actual forum pages, since in an ideal situation, your process will be recorded every time.

Sadly, the forums are anything but ideal right now. :(

Nope, they usually go away, it's just that sometimes (rarely) they don't. This has started happening since the forums got moved over, so I'm pretty sure it's a glitch on that side. Hopefully it'll get sorted out.

I'm having the same issue. Basically, you can click the same thread multiple times without its status updating, but usually it's not a problem.
