This letter is hand-delivered by Shane. The handwriting is messy, but appears to have been done slowly and laboriously. There are several mispelled words which have been crossed out and rewritten, as well as a few sentences which have been marked out entirely and rewritten in the space between.

Seekers, My name is Shane. I am an orphan and native of Sanctuary, as well as a paladin of Lathander. I have long been interested in joining the Seekers. Last night I was able to accompany Seekers Grey and Mbizi on a rescue mission into the badlands. While we were unable to bring the lost seeker back since he had been zombified, I was able to help bring the undead creatures down, actually landing the final blow on the lead zombie. I also followed orders fairly well and didn't do anything to endanger the group. In addition to my combat prowess, I have read every survival guide available in Ebeneezra's shop and know the area since I grew up here as an orphan. I'd really like to speak with someone about joining the seekers. I feel a strong calling to finally see the sun, and I also want to free others from slavery. Thanks for your time,

I sent a letter of application to the Seeker's a while ago, after which I sat down and spoke with Seeker Grey. He advised me to send a more detailed letter to Seeker Mace, which I did.
