Magnus pressed me fer a key; me had already taken his loyalty oath ta tha clan and after surveying tha hall together, we headed off ta tha Blue Mushroom; thar was that problem with their rogue earth mound again in tha basement. When Magnus' sword dinna seem ta be workin, he started ta smash tha rock with his bare hands! After a toe ta toe foight, he struck a mighty blow and brout it down! After we dispatched tha big rock an me presented Magnus with his own key ta tha hall. His eyes lit up as if I had given him a present from Dumathoin himself.

Whiles we was in the Rock Bottom, recoverin from our wounds, we came across a group that was going explorin out ta tha lizard island. I had bin thar many months ago with Durgan Ironblade, when he was delivered ta Moradin, an tha human mage Edgin. The group was mado of tha haflin Meriam, an the elves Potter, Cyroderis , Fenmain an Shauna; they spoke of a Crystal Cave, a place me remembers me had found with Edgin when we was fleein horde of orogs that was attackin us.

We sets off; at tha Blue Mushroom, Shauna departed but we wree accompanied by a sneak me think was named Warren. We paid our fare ta tha boatman by tha Lake an we were off. We landed in darkness an we dispatched tha lizard men nearby. Meriam found tha underground cavern that led ta tha Crystal Cave. We entered tha cave; tha water came up ta me chin an Magnus, meselef an tha haflin Meriam struggled ta keep our heads above water.

We crossed tha flooded cave an soon came ta long winding passageway; once we emerged from thar, thar were these mushrooms that made us all dizzy...this was ta be tha place whar our greatest battles was ta be fought. Tha mushrooms gives off this gas that makes ye dizzy an clouds yer vision.

We found a cave in tha west wall of this chamber and entered it; til this point we was slaying orogs left an right with not much problem. We found ourselves in a chamber with a large open plateau and found another entrance in tha soutthern face.

We entered tha new cave, an it twas as if Dumathoin had shat gems and jewels all over tha place; thar were crystals all about tha place an tha haflin Meriam told us ta be careful, specially after Magnus took a swipe at one ta see if it would yield any valuable ore.

In tha midst of this, thar appeared a lone woman who seemed ta live out thar; seems she wanted us ta find her a rilith berry? She told us we wud hafta find it in a well not far from thar. We dinna know whar that was so we tooka look roun that plateau an found ourselves standin in cliffs above lake; the entrance ta here was southwest o tha plateau. Ta tha north o tha plateau, we found another entrance that me thinks led ta sverb city o sorts, thats what me remembers from me last trip ta tha cavern.

Back in tha cave with all em mushrooms, we found an entrance in the northern side that led ta tha canyon whar Durgan, Edgin an I faced em giants long ago. Tha group headed down ta tha canyon floor an crossed tha bridge ta tha giant cave. Tha scouts entered tha cave an saw tha giant door that loomed ahead o us, an tha group decided ta turn back. Magnus sorely wanted ta find a giant head ta bring back ta tha hall an me thoughts o Nine Toes an me adventure with tha old clan came ta me mind.

We soon wandered back ta tha original flooded cavern, an once again were met with orogs shootin flame arrows; tha combonation o bein hit with shroom gas an orogs was confusin, but tha group held together. In tha flooded cavern, we found an old well underwater. We knew this was whar tha lady told us ta find her berries, so we all took a deep breath and entered tha well. Thar was a guide rope we had ta follow down.

We entered another flooded chamber, an this time tha water was way over our heads...we was findin our way among tha cavern when was attacked by these water spirits it seems. They struck Magnus an me a fearsome blow an we was almost delivered ta Moradin right than an thar. We managed to find bushes that held tha woman's berries after fightin off these water spirits. We headed back ta tha Crystal Cave.

Tha orogs, it seemed, organized demselves this time an were waitin fer us in ambush. Once again, we made our way through tha shrooms an they was thar. I struck down a few, but soon found meself in tha midst o them. Me was struck in tha side o the head an then........

Me awoke an found me companions gathered round me; we was all bloodied an bruised, an me companions looked at me as if thay was shocked ta see me alive. Magnus was lyin by me as well as tha elf Cyeroderis. We was all struck fearsome blows by them orogs, specially one in a red shirt o sorts. We had ta beat back, recover an tend ta our wounds. In tha midst o all this, we lost tha mage Fenmain, we dinna see him fall but he was nowhar ta be found.

We gathered ourselves again ta try ta run through tha mushrooms again; me scouted ahead an found tha way clear an motioned fer tha group ta run ta tha cave with tha plateau in it. We ducked back inta tha crystal cave whar tha woman that lived thar rewarded us fer helpin her out; she then let us camp out by her fire.

We prepared again, knowin them orogs be waitn fer us again, an sure nuff they were. Tha mushrooms were explodin again, an tha orogs were waitin with thar flame arrows. They tried ta get us one by one, but me managed ta hold em off whilst tha group made a run fer it. Poor Magnus seemed unable ta strap on his armor kerrectly an was runnin aroun in a suit he borrowed from Meriam. Warren was strikin fearsome blows from tha shadows,an bringing down orogs left an right whilst Potter was doin tha same an makin sure we was protected an healthy. We ran through tha passage way ta tha flooded cavern an me was makin sure we wasn't followed.

In tha flooded cavern we tried ta find our way back ta tha docks when an orog snuck up an dealt a fearsome blow ta Cyerodis. We was afeared we lost him, but managed ta get ta him in all that water. We fought our way through lizard men and soon came back ta tha docks. Poor Cyerodis was in a state; them lizards an orogs seemed ta like ta hit him more than everyone else.

We foughts our way back ta tha docks an got back inta tha boat ta tha Blue Mushroom. We was bloodied an battered, but we did some right good explorin. Me thinks we can do it again with a capapble group o stouts...mebbe we can go back ta whar we saw dem giants an let Magnus take a swing at em, loike he wanted ta.....me found a good swinging orc axe, me second one. Tha druid Potter, Meriam, Cyerodis, Warren, Magnus an meself parted thar....we had fought well an survived; tis all that matters.
