*left at the Watch House for the Sheriff*

Greetings good sir,

I have recently been asked as a personal favor, to locate an enchanted ring which was confiscated by the Watch from a citizen known as Chant Fryar. The ring is a minor magical item, I believe it has some slight healing properties. The owner was told that a fine was required for it's release, however they have met with bureaucratic inconveniences while attempting to affect it's return. I have been authorized to pay the fine and recover the ring for it's owner if I may. Please contact me at Town Hall and I will bring the required fee and take this ring off your hands.

My thanks, -Councilor Manasi

//Just so it's made clear, I removed this ring from Chant in lieu of a monetary fine since he had no gold. It was handed over to the Cell Guard, so the Watch is in posession of it. :)

The Sheriff takes one look at the letter and promptly sends it down to Sergeant Sheps.

Councilor Manasi,

We're always here at the Watch House. Just stop by. I believe that the ring is presently locked away in our storage, awaiting payment of the fine. Sheriff Walters has assigned me to handle this personally to ensure that we cut through unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork.

- Sergeant Sheps

Sergeant Sheps,

Thank you for your quick response. I'll be there at my earliest convenience.
