I won't be in IRC as often for awhile. The program is causing my operating system some troubles; frequent crashes and what not while running other things.
If people want to contact me, IMing still works and so do PMs on the forums.

have you tried other clients? such as chatzilla, which uses the mozilla engine to operate and works perfectly fine if you can run mozilla/firefox. I've never had a single issue with it.
Fish, is this a way of getting around closed ports too? I live in campus housing, and I cant use Klient because the ports needed are blocked by our darling ITS department
check the secure port, add :6668 to the end of your connection address. Thats how I get past mine. Normally irc, or darkmyst in particular uses :6667 by default and that one is a comms port, blocked, but the secure one (6668) is usually free.
so something like irc.darkmyst.org:6668 . It will work 90% of the time, but not all darkmyst servers have secure lines open. If it works I'll get back to you on better connections from there.
Also a side note, if you are finding lag on irc, reconnect. Abyss was having lag issues last week. If you "whois" yourself it'll say what server you're on. using darkmyst.org you can directly connect to a single server thats closest to you, or a different one if you are lagging alot.
Try Chatzilla. The only problem I've had with it is it crashed Rome:Total War, but otherwise it works nice.
Chatzilla and Rome: Total War kick arse.
Rome total war is awesome, though I'm told that Medieval Total war is better. Oh and Oro what program are you using?
