This graffiti can be seen scrawled on old posters or etched into zurkwood in numerous corners. Each couplet is individualised, but the theme is the same. An example is posted below:

Monty Ubel was murdered today, Slain by Mandarin Dreagle. It curses the sewers he choose to betray! He makes the laws now, So killing is legal?

Monty Ubel has begun to decay, Slain by the Mandarin slime, We have no leader, we’re in disarray! Reject the councilman, Remember his crime.

Monty Ubel was slaughtered they say, Slain by Mandarin Dreagle. Why listen to a Ghaunadaur Padre? He still reeks of shit, But now it smells regal!

A small group of people gather around one of the many scrawls, muttering darkly about the Council. After some time, they turn to bickering amongst themselves, and eventually disperse. Once they are all gone, a slick ochre substance bubbles up from the nearby sewers and dissolves the zurkhwood. Only a sticky residue remains.
