Similar Letters Addressed To Those Concerned

*Delivered to House of Light, Tigereyes, Watch, Seekers*

Every day slaves escape to Sanctuary, I remember my first day here. I was bewildered, lost, overwhelmed and in front of city hall I watched a man be stoned to death for some crimes I never heard spoken.

That brutal, frightening memory is the first one I have of our home-and it is not something I wish to see subjected to others.

Let us discuss friends, ways to make our newest citizens more welcome. Especially:

1. How welcoming are we of all races? Well do I remember the difficulty I had in pushing for the acceptance of a band of goblinoids I personally helped free from gladiatorial slavers.

2. What is our role in ensuring housing, food, and jobs for new arrivals?

3. How do we ensure that there will be no future overcrowding of our inhabitable regions? Sanctuary has grown from a small group to a small city in just 150 years, a plan for the future needs to happen.

4. How can we better ensure our populations safety as our numbers begin to swell further still?

Dear Mandarin,

I was just educated on the faux pas that I commited in your presence earlier today, and for that I'd like to offer an apology and a promise that it won't happen again. For second, in response to your letter, I too have had very similar thoughts in the last days. I would love nothing more than to offer my presence at a meeting, if you propose such and would have me, to discuss better ways and methods of welcoming the newly come and liberated.

Ok that's it, Luminary Mylin

Councilor Dreagle,

1. We're already forced to allow Drow into the city, as it is. I think we're doing just fine as far as being welcoming goes.

2. It's hardly the Watch's job to clothe and employ anyone new to the city. If they know what's good for them, they'll figure it out on their own eventually.

3. It's my understanding Dunwarren extends a vast distance further than the area we have occupied. If necessary, I expect we'll start spreading out more.

4. Get rid of the Tigereyes and give us more money. Then we can hire more recruits to cover the new area better. Not to mention the ruddy Tigereyes won't be harrassing people downstairs anymore.

Sergeant Durris

Councilor Dreagle,

Having not been a slave myself I am affraid I cannot entirely connect with our most common import. However, I do know what it feels like to lose all that you know. How lives can change greatly in an instant. I think a meeting of our city factions may be a good way to address this as a comittee. I look forward to this oppurtunity.
