Can speech commands be linked to items IG. Like, if you're standing next to some svirfneblin item and type "*examines -itemnamehere-* Your char will automatically roll the appropriate roll, be it lore, spellcraft or something similar and get a description based on the success of that roll?

Would be really helpful in the Bowels for example, if you could just examine a device with a command and your char would automatically roll the required roll and you'd get the description. Might need to be like, 4-5 different descriptions on each item to make for the varied successes people get.

Surely something like this would take alot of time but it would save you guys alot of time in the future when you don't have to attend to hundreds of tells going "I'm looking at this strange thing, can I see what it does?"

Putting this on the Spellguard Warding symbols around Sanctuary could be a good way to test it out. :)

As an admendment to this question, I was wondering if it was possible to "un-identify" something, as I know how closely the identify system is linked to the core engine. Sometimes I'd like to identify something but keep it's real idenity hidden.

Both of these can be done, although I'm unsure of whether an automatic unidentification command is a feature which we should add.

I agree with not adding n unindentify script. Sounds very exploitable.
