*a letter attached to the rear end of a roth*

dear Druid/Ranger/crazy nature man, i know you beleive it is your job to protect nature as it is my job to protect my i am hopeing that we could meet and negotiate term, you know how to contact me and no more threts please, i know who you are and i'll have to act on it if it happens again

Stoutheart Dwarves

((In which way is it attached to the rothe?))

(( mind is filled with visions of a dwarf coming up behind a rothe, rolling up a parchment, lifting its tail, and inserting the roll into the appropriate orifice (depending on gender of rothe) ))

The message is eventually detached from the rothe the natural way, and rests forever unnoticed by the intended recipient, imbedded in a pile of exceedingly smelly rothe dung somewhere in the general vicinity of the Dark Lake.

//a peice of rope is tied around it's waist and the letter lies to the side of its left buttock

A letter finds its way to the Stouthearts...

Dwarves of the Stoutheart,

It saddens me to see you ridicule and disdain nature so. Far better men than you have thought they could stand up against that which is the world, and failed. Think not even for a minute that you can do any better. As for your "offer", there is nothing to discuss. You shall give up these mad plans about rothe farms that you now pursue, and threat nature with far more respect than you have so far. One way, or the other. We only warn once, and you have disregarded it, at your own peril. If word is not given that you will stop your plans within the next threeday, expect no mercy, for nature - and that is everything - will war against you.
