Is a bard's song considered a form of magic or just an extreme example of what high charisma characters can do? I'm curious as to whether it would "ping" as magic to those in the know, and my Player's Handbook took a trip to Europe and won't be back until summer.

I'll answer here too, since your character would probably know. Bard Song is indeed a form of magic, going above and beyond simply being a jaunty, inspiring tune. It, however, a form of magic different than most other forms of magic.

Any plans for making different bard songs (or a different effect for a different instrument used) With different pluses (and negatives maybe)??
