*a note is given to a member of the watch*

*John Fullheart hands this note to a patrolling member of the watch, asking that it be passed on the supervisor in charge of hiring new members*

Sir or Madam,

Having recently arrived in Sanctuary, I find myself enjoying freedom for the first time. If I may say, its a rather nice feeling, and one that I hope to keep till I'm grey in the ol' mustache. It's also a feeling I wish for the good people of this city to never have to worry about losing.

Far as I can tell, the good chaps in the Watch are the group of folks that keep this city safe, and the people free from the dangers out there. To be honest, its something I would like to be a part of myself. A mans got to have a craft in life, and I'm thinking this might be mine.

I can swing a hammer a bit, and cook a mean rat and mushroom stew. If you think you could use a man like myself on your team, well then, I suppose I'm your man. Leave a note for me at the Inn if your interested in what I have to offer you.

-John Fullheart

-*the name is written again in Gnomish*

Private Hephs recieves the note with a brief nod, and resumes his patrol. As he marches off, you notice him reading over the note and rubbing his stomach.

Private Hephs arrives at the Watch Headquarters and delivers the note to Sergeant Ambler, who spends his entire lunch break reading through "Tyrell's Translation Handbook" and attempting to decipher the Gnomish script at the bottom of the letter... only to realize, as he returns to his duties, that it's just a name.
