*Sealed letter to the Tigereyes*

Report: [Personal Correspondence, The Captain] 5th day of Alturiak in the year 151 Operative Delgado

Earlier today a gnome that goes by the name Zan assaulted the prospective Councilmember Rilo Manasi in the sewers and tried to force him to resign from running for Council. He had Rilo go to the Town Hall and send a sending to gather up citizens to hear his statement, Rilo then proceeded to inform everyone present of the gnome's intentions. There was a dark clad gnome present that promptly left the premesis as Rilo began speaking of the crime, I had two citizens shadow him which lead them to the tunnels beneath the Lower Quarter where the gnome attacked them. They were able to subdue the gnome and promptly presented him to the Tigereyes in order to impriso him until his trial would begin. I was informed of this, as well as numerous reports of assaults the gnome had committed in the Upper Quarter. I promptly headed off to your Fortress and asked that the gnome be handed over to me in order for me to continue my case, I was refused due to the fact that Zerelde demanded that I write up a warrant first. After I had written up the Warrant and presented it to the appropriate individuals, I returned to the Fortress to retrieve the prisoner, only to discover that Zerelde had indeed released him, even though she fully understood that he was to be brought infront of the Council to answer for his crimes. She may think she knows all the details and can thus release prisoners she -knows- are wanted in the Upper Quarter but this kind of attitude is the direct cause for the animosity you are gaining in the eyes of other law enforcement agencies within Sanctuary and, indeed, the Council itself. It is no surprise that the Council has decided to lower your budget, seeing that the members of your mercenary company go out of their way to make matters difficult for the other law enforcement individuals withing Sanctuary. The Spellguard is greatly displeased with the results of this matter and we will take every measure available to us to make sure that the Tigereye Company is reprimanded for it's utter lack of respect for the laws of Sanctuary

On another note, the Tigereye Namli has been seen murdering citizens in the Upper Quarter, -YET- again. When I came to the Fortress to discuss the matter with him, I met with Tigereye Menhur who promptly began asking me to drop the matter in exchange for holding a favor with the Tigereye Company. Firstly, there is no favor the Tigereye Company can offer the Spellguard other than it's complete and utter removal from the city of Sanctuary, this includes the hopes that your entire cadre of Tigereye members falls into a deep hole on their way out and promptly finds themselves on the menu of somekind of vile beast. Secondly, after I finish questioning the witnesses to Namli's crimes and collect all the evidence, I will be issuing a Warrant for his arrest, under Capital crimes. Hopefully my efforts will decrease the amount of Tigereyes the previously mentioned beast will have to devour.

I'll not even bother to ask you to either reprimand your members or assist in these matters in any way, since I know such requests have only found themselves lost in the endless reaches of emptiness, that is situated between your ears, in the past.

In the hopes that I've been able to inform you of your increasingly apparent inabilities and idiocity.

    With Regards,

    *signed* Operative Delgado

A mercenary will be dispatched to address these concerns in person. Your extreme insulting tone has been noted with regret.

Respectfully,

Lt. Samson Tigereye Mercenary Company

Report: [Personal Correspondence, Lt. Samson] 6th day of Alturiak in the year 151 Operative Delgado

It seems the only way to provoke a polite answer from the hypocritical band of mercenaries that you are part of is to address them with insults. Any attempts at reasonably cordial discussions on our behalf have been met with insults and/or violence on your behalf. The Tigereye Mercenary Company has made it abundantly clear that they have no wish to adhere to the signed contracts they have made with the town of Sanctuary and have shown themselves in the past to strive at causing as much chaos and lawlessness as possible. Many of your members have shown nothing but contempt to Sanctuary as well as nothing but sheer willingness to keep it from prospering as it could. Think what you will but the fact remains that the Tigereyes are nothing but hired goons that will simply be replaced if they do not understand what their place within Sanctuary is, and soon. The fact that the members of your Company actually work publicly to increase the chances of Council disapproval perplexes me incredibly, are you indeed so daft that you don't understand that if you continue on your path to become naught but common criminals that you'll be allowed to hold your position in Sanctuary? I will personally enjoy watching orange armored mercenaries escort kobold merchants around the Underdark or guarding crates of rothe dunge for farmers in the future, when your company is removed from it's current position. *signed* Operative Delgado
