Is there a way to log onto EfU's IRC channel through the NWN client, or do we need a separate program running? Heh, considering I used to play in chat games -- hence the reason I emote almost everything -- you'd think I'd know more about how IRC works, but I really am that inept.

Basically, IRC is run off of a separate application (called a client). You can pick any of the clients on the post I linked to. Then you just join the irc.darkmyst.org network, and then join the #efu channel.

Most people lurk there most of the time, but generally someone will be around to help you out.

I wasn't sure if NWN's built in chat was an IRC client like it is in some first person shooters. Heh, I had assumed the question had been answered somewhere, but trying to track something down on a message board can be nigh impossible at times.

IRC can be kind of a jungle, I recommend not taking anything said too seriously.
