Setting hostile

I thought better inform all. If somebody sets you to hostile and you can't rest or do something else, set them to Like and you can rest again. They see you hostile, you see them neutral.

I leave all OOC abuse things to DM's, but this can help you if there isnt OOC ass Included.

Just an FYI:

recently I was involved in the possible event of pvp, so i set everyone to hostile, since the pvp target was likely to have allies. If this interrupted the rest of anyone on the server, I apologize, but the /o c hostile all was an easy way to make sure the pvp would be fair.

If it were for PvP, then I would understand it. But simply setting people to hostile for no reason other than to disrupt their rest seems to be plainly OOC rude.

Granted, some people have their reasons (PvP planned or setting all to hostile), but when someone specifically states that rest disruption is the sole purpose, then it strikes me as being little more being an arse.

Icky, once someone states that his 'sole purpose is to interupt your rests', I suggest you Printscreen it, and report it to the DM's. I would more than agree that that person ought to be banned.

Coldburn,

It has been reported to the DMs. Hopefully the individual will get a talking to in the form of a frozen trout used for a proctology exam.

But you know all about it, don't you?

Setting someone to hostile only interupts their rest if you're right next to them.

If you're in separate areas, it has no influence on resting.
