Letter left for the council at town hall

I would like to set up a recent immigrants guild in the city. Vixzyom, Susanna and Toman all recent immigrants like myself have all expressed interest. Bascily the need is for a more organized structure to show people the town, and what to do in it. As well, it would provide a place to introduce the laws of the city that are not listed elsewhere. The fact that kobolds are not allowed in the upper sanctuary inn for example.

In time I hope to make contacts with the various guids in town and perhaps list the members in leadership positons in each. This would make getting in touch with the spellguard for registering and the seekers much easier.

Other than apprising you of my efforts I would ask for an office perhaps in town hall? As well if things get off the ground and we prove useful I may pettion for funding. I make my home currently at the pissing crone if you would like to contact me.

Samus

OCC Ok would like this to be a roleplaying school as well, perhaps to graduate you have to pass the test given by the council lady on the history of the town and write something in the journal forum that is then approaved. It would be nice if those that passed could be given a noticeable change to their description. This could then be used when considering for faction membership, player run or otherwise.

To Mr. or Mrs. Samus,

I think your idea is wonderful, and I truly appreciate your desire to better new arrivals from the terrible dark. I fully support your cause, and hopefully I can give some funding to you from my personal economic interest group, The Commonwealth, when my schedule frees me some and I get time to review our ledger. ((OOC: my comp. is broke, don't expect me IG too soon))

Before you further press your petition on to the Council, I would recommend that you attempt a fundraiser of some kind in its stead. Some examples include holding a raffle, hosting an athletic event (I have some experience here), or simply applying to the various merchants around the city. You should find the fair citizens of Sanctuary most helpful towards their fellows. Also, if you do apply for funding from the Council, please try to be as specific as possible as to its use, or uses for a better chance of success.

Best wishes, and I hope to speak with you soon.

Councilor Genevis Ward Physician Exec. Dir. of The Commonwealth Councilor of Sanctuary
