A Case of the "Not Its"

I recently was with a group of 8 that went on a quest and we learned at the quest entry that we exceeded the party limit by one. My real world instincts kicked in, and I applied a general rule that every kid I know learns quickly when with a group of exuberant friends that all equally desire to avoid anything that is remotely undesirable.

I called out "//not it"

I busted with laughter as every character quickly shot out dialogue responses of "//not it" on my screen. This law is apparently universal. Fair or not, a decision was quickly made, and one unfortunate individual was driven away, as if persecuted, by this brief moment of childish decision making. It was an enjoyable union between Real and Fantasy Worlds.

It was a proud moment.

In on the ground floor of a spectacular thread.

You talking about the staircase defense quest with the undead? If so, I was the only one who didnt say '//not me'.

I think I said, ''//oh yeah, and saying not me doesnt exclude you from anything, just so you know".

I was thinking, If I'm last to say not it...then I will be not it!....wish I was the last to say it

I was the one that said, // I have the fireballs.

I do now remember the fireball comment. :D It all went pretty quickly and some other comments were made as well....but the incident was funny nonetheless.
