A final thank you to all citizens and candidates who came to the debate. It was a success, regardless of some minor interruptions by Morgan Maddocks.

To be fair to all candidates, they can post their opinions on the issues covered during the debate. That way the candidates who were unable to arrive for the debate can still voice their opinions.

It is our goal for the people make an educated vote for people they can trust in.

Issues:

War: Some candidates advocate that Sanctuary would go to war for various reasons. Others believe that war is a mistake.

Necromancy: Necromancy today is a banned form of magic. A new candidate in office, Jarentiano Sterios, advocates that animation of the undead can actually help Sanctuary's defenses. Many candidates disagree.

Social Reform: Many people will agree that some sort of social reform is required in Lower. The methods of doing so is on hot debate. A few candidates believe that social reform is unneccessary.

Awareness: Some candidates believe that making the citizenship more politically aware will decrease corruption and increase power to the people.

Escape: A controversial issue. Many people want to escape Sanctuary back to the surface. Some candidates believe that we should focus primarily on escaping. Others believe that we should make do with our underground lives.

Taxes: It is believed lots of people are avoiding their taxes. What should be done about this? Should taxes be increased?

Security: How should Sanctuary handle its security today? Is it fine? Could it be improved and how?
