There are several ways.

If you go to the "Crafting Menu," (right click on your character -> Special Abilities -> Crafting Skills), the first option is "Scripted Emotes." Select that option, and then choose "Action Emotes" and then "Sit on Floor."

Alternately, "/o e sit" should work.

You can also quickslot the 'sit on ground' command by right-clicking in the slot and then going through the character emotes until the third set.

That only works for short periods though, and it's quite tedious because you have to spam the button if you want to sit there longer than just a moment. The commands Arkov suggested, however, loop the command automatically, so you don't have to worry about the spamming and you can sit for long periods and for example chat.

If I want to sit for a long period of time, I hit it as fast as I can for about 10secs, then I dont have to worry bout it for ages. Works for me.

Why not just quickslot the "/o e sit" instead as a macro? :wink:
