Posted outside the canal ward gates, as well as near the gate road. The writing is heavy and odd, as if scrawled by an illiterate beggar

The chosen, friend or foe? Many immediately think they are a foe for being different then what we deem "normal." However, with some thought is it not true that Bresley and the other ancestors that found this town, simply took it without seeing if it was occupied by something else? It did in fact seem abandoned on the surface, however as we all came to know eventually the svirfneblin and chosen have lived beneath in the "machine." Therefore is the town not belonging to them? The chosen are likely taking back what is theirs. Why if they allowed us to have the town, would we not want more? With so many expeditions into the machine, where those "exploring" attacked the chosen because they were "in the way" would they not feel as if the town is their enemy? Yet how many have thought of their point of view? None, or hardly any. From their point of view we are invaders, attempting to take what is theirs. And with the recent rumors of the last svirfneblin machinist being hidden in the town, the chosen will likely overrun everyone to get to it. I simply ask that you take a step back and look at the situation from the other side.
