To Pyotr Ignatiev.

Sir,

I really don't know why you want me dead. Unless its for the really obvious reason of me being a former rebel. But really I just want to be left alone to find the Way in order to help all of Sanctuary. The Spellguard had Frederick Bresley's journal in the most secure room of their Tower, which tells us where to look.

I saw things in that Tower that are going to give me nightmares for the rest of my life. And I know you took part in things which were probably as bad, or worse in your life; whether as a Montezzi, or one of Etorix's, or one of the Spellguard's, but I'm not one for killing if I don't have to.

Please, I'm just asking you to leave me alone in the future; so I can help Sanctuary. I'm not going to beg though, or set terms other than you leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone. But if you hurt anyone of my friends or any other Seekers, all bets are off.

-Seeker Calley.

Seeker Calley,

Why would I wish you dead, now? You do not see a soldier traversing the Realms hunting down enemy warriors who he knew to be present on the other side of the fence in battles of the past. It was warfare and we were merely enemy combatants. The war is over, your side prevailed, and while I am rueful of being forced to choose to stand alongside the forces which failed, there is no personal resentment which dictates we should continue to be enemies.

And so, the answer is of course that you've little to fear regarding me, unless you decide to take up one of the various bounties or criminal warrants I've no doubt managed to acquire these last few months.

Respectfully,

Pyotr Ignatiev

Sir,

I'm relieved to hear that. I thought there might have been some reason in particular that you were following me around, or having your spies follow me around so you could have me assasinated other than me being on the other side.

Glad to hear there's not.
