Today, I unfortunately got to test if resurrect (the 5k one at the hold) subtracted the correct 1/9 xp and found out that it does not. It indeed subtracts more than it should. I can give a dm the specific numbers and stuff but it ended up taking approximately 600 xp extra from me (and yes, I am hundred percent sure that it was an incorrect subtraction).

I can't check the numbers and don't know what character this was for, but I'd like to know if your character has a + ECL subrace.

My character does not have a + ECL subrace. The character is a shifter but I am pretty sure that should have no bearing on anything.

I noticed this too. I thought it would be about 3500 when I calculated it, but it was 4000.

Interesting! It's currently scripted to take away 1/8th of your total XP. Hm!
