Paladin Query.

I know there is no order for Paladins of Kossuth. even though I am aware that this is not in existance i am told that a player who used the name Clane Kanthel has tried this.

My question is wherether or not Clane Kanthel was a Warrior/Cleric build, or was he an actual Paladin?

My thanks for any help on this matter.

Clane I believe was a Fighter / Cleric. Kossuth can't have Paladins on EfU, though I wish he did!

"FIRE SMITE TO YOUR EVIL FACE!" :P

He was a Cleric/Fighter.

Why would a neutral god of fire give worshippers anti-evil powers?

The same reason he gives evil people magic powers.

He just don't give a shit.

Some Neutral Gods do give Evil fighting powers. Mystra is a very good example of that.

Faith & Pantheons 3.0 on page 50 lists Mystra as a Neutral Good Deity. But if you look at her Clerical Alignments.. CG, LE, LG, LN and NG. And she clearly has Paladins, I know I run one here in EFU. Something I am finding a very challenging thing to RP and keep my LG Alignment.

DarqRaven, you know how to use Detect Evil right?

For any new Paladins, use the command '/c detect evil' to find evil players. It isn't all seeing, but it'll do. It's also limited to nearby, but the only limit is it's distance and one best discovered In-Game

Mystra allows Lawful Evil clerics because the previous Mystra was Lawful Neutral instead of Neutral Good, but was killed during the Time of Troubles by Helm.

Sooo. Although the previous Mystra was of the "Don't harm the Weave and I don't give a shit" alignment, the current one is more about using magic for good; she only still has the LE clerics because she didn't want to cut them off, and I'm assuming that they're very rare.

As far as alignments go, though.. Neutral Good is fairly different from Neutral. And this is now very off topic.
