Kedrick Reynolds, Shifting Cavern

Mr. Reynolds,

I am very disturbed to hear of your choice to join the forces of disorder, chaos and rebellion. I am even more disappointed to read what you truly think Simms is. I once took you for a smart, able opponent back in the days when you resisted my Prince's rule with your last admittedly well-recruited group of halfwits.

Both out of my respect for the cunning you have displayed in the days of yore -which I admire above all things- and out of the pain it causes me to slay Sanctuary citizens when outside dangers -such as the Chosen, for instance- threaten the entire city, loyalist and rebel alike, I shall give you a chance to turn away from the path you have recently chosen to walk.

You and your men are to cease aiding the seditious forces. If you do not, I will come down upon you without mercy. I know every person who works for you; I have watched you for hours on end for days now, and will continue to do so. Your weakest members will be set upon from the shadows at unwares and you and your lieutenants will be caught in a trap more cunning than your infantile mind could ever understand.

I am very sincere about this. Please leave word with an answer, you've two days.

Cordially,

Pyotr Ignatiev

Pyotr Ignatiev,

Your letter amuses me greatly. I offered you the chance to join with me. Had you done so, you would have received absolution for your past deeds.

Further, your ignorance is astounding. Had you been watching us as closely as you say, then you'd know that the rebel forces and the Sovereign Host are at odds. You would know that the rebel forces requested the Host's aid in taking back the Upper Ward and I refused to give it.

I also find it amusing that you of all people grovel before the Spellguard. How times change, for was it not you just a handful of weeks ago looking for vengeance against them for the slaying of Prince Montezzi? Now you hide behind their robes, thinking that the Spellguard will protect you.

You are free to believe what you wish about the Spellguards alliance with Ysinode. Though I have very good proof of this fact, otherwise I would not have made such public.

Since it seems that you lack a clear understanding of where things are: I am not an ally of the Regime. I do not serve nor follow the Rebel forces. I have my own plans.

I am also fully aware of your attempts against several of our members. Did I not make it clear that such would mean death? Are you blind as well as stupid?

No, Pyotr I have already ordered your execution. You are to be hunted down and slain on site, and the same will go for any who dare lift a finger against a member of the Host.

Though I am willing to resend this order, perhaps. Come to me and speak with me in person. Since you are following me around I should not be difficult to locate, though I suggest you make your presence known to me. Should I hear you hanging about in the shadows, and rest assured now that I know you're around I will be looking, I will simply kill you without a word.

Your threats are meaningless to me.

Signed, Commander Kedrick Reynolds

Mr. Reynolds,

The bravado of a man and his quill is an endearing thing, yet nevertheless just that. Keep in mind men and groups of a stature which dwarfs yours have wanted me dead for a long time, yet here I am.

Cordially,

Pyotr Ignatiev

Pyotr Ignatiev,

Your fate is sealed. You will die. There will be no absolution for you now.

Commander Kedrick Reynolds
