Citizens of Sanctuary,
with the further revelations of the Host, our initial statements are yet again acknowledged as true. The Spellguard are Thralls. They are slaves to evil masters.
The Host fights what they, and I must admit also I, view as a legitimate, dark, and looming threat towards our Sanctuary. This is admirable. But they are not the only ones fighting for what is good, just, and for the survival of our city.
For even though the Appetite may be defeated, the Spellguard and their Illithid masters may remain. Our cause is a great one - a just one, a path any free man and woman should be proud to take! Choose the way of STRENGTH! Of FREEDOM! Do not cower under the heel of the Illithid servants, or the ratpacks of the Chosen! Rise up in rebellion against these evil foes, and join us in their destruction!
I tell you this, that I, Sigurd the Spellblade, will fight to my last dying breat both these threats - in the name of Tempus and Sanctuary! I will not be bested even though the Thralls of the Spellguard claim that our insurrection only further the cause of Drow and other monsters, while in fact it is their evil which prevents our just protection of the good men and women of Sanctuary!
