Sovereign Host, Mur

Dear Sovereign Host,

I'm leaving you this note to let you know about my services, recently made available to Keel and his men exclusively. He expressed a wish that we all support you in any way possible. This is what I can do.

I am a priestess of the Unicorn Goddess, Lurue. I have been granted divine gifts by her will, while my main focus is in the healing arts. I am capable of brewing potions and crafting wands. The size of a potion order is no object, so long as I have the materials. Previously, I worked under the employ of Dr. Profidious Vile as a provider of healing potions for his merchant organization, but I left shortly before he was slain by the Watchman Lerzon. I also worked at the School of War in Sanctuary, as an instructor. I still have a key to that place if you need it.

As an example of my brewing skills as they are currently: I would be able to brew approximately one hundred and ten (110) potions of Serious Healing after prayer to the Goddess of the Spiraled Horn. The material cost for each potion, bottle included, would be 42 coins. At cost, the charge for these potions would be 4620 gold pieces. My charge for these is typically 50 coin a piece, but in such large orders and for such dire times, I will ask 45 coin per bottle for orders over 50. I can provide you with four times this amount in the space of one cycle, and have experience working overtime.

In person, my healing skills are of a quality unrivaled in most parts of the dark. I can offer transmutative blessings of all kinds at 80 coins per potion, including a Grace spell not common to most clergy. I can cast a spell of True Sight, but it is too powerful for bottle or wand. Common prayers of defense and the like are also available, and I can give you wands of magic weapon at a very preferential price of 650. I have very powerful divine allies, the most notable being Mr. Great Lizard, a powerful and wise beast who protects me in the Underdark. Finally, I specialize in Enchantment spells, such as Holding or Blinding, and such spells are very hard to resist coming from me.

The issue at hand is my lack of mobility. I wear no armor, carry no weapon save my crossbow, and the trip to Mur is quite long. If you are willing to arrange for my safe passage and to have supplies available at Mur, or a courier to bring money for materials and subsequently deliver the potions to you, then the rest of the matter is settled. The blessings of Lurue are yours to accept when you wish them, and will be given most openly to any and all who serve in your ranks.

May the light of the Unicorn Queen shine down upon your souls, bringing you warmth and life in these times of cold darkness.

-Frances Allegretti, Sanctuary Church of Lurue, Lower Bazaar

Frances Allegretti,

I thank you personally for your offer of aid. We gladly accept.

If you have no objections, I would send an armed escort to lead you safely to Mur. I realize Mur is not an ideal location, but for now the Duegar here remain neutral. Though it is important to point out that mercenaries can have their loyalties swayed easily. So long as we continue to bring business to the Fort they will look favorably upon us and will allow us to remain.

I would encourage a pro-longed stay here. It is only a matter of time until the Lower Bazaar is taken by the Chosen, and from Fort Mur a ship can easily be procured to take you back to Sanctuary for a small fee. The materials you need for wands and potions can also be bought here, in some cases even cheaper than you could procure them within the city.

If you have no desire to remain in Fort Mur, this is understandable and we will come to you. We believe we have found a way to defeat the Chosen, and are working toward those ends even as I write this letter so we will be in the city regardless.

Best wishes and please remain safe.

Kedrick Reynolds Commander of the Sovereign Host

Kedrick Reynolds,

Your assistance in traveling to Mur would be greatly appreciated. I will take your advice and move there on a semi-permanent basis. Please let me know if you have any orders to make immediately, or you may let me know when I arrive.

I will let the local rebellion know of my intentions and hopefully I will be able to make the move within a cycle. Fair winds.

-Frances Allegretti, Sanctuary Church of Lurue

When Allegretti's reply is found by Kendrick, any seal has been broken with an obvious and poor attemp to make the seal whole again. The letter itself has a crinkle at one edge; it smells faintly of grease and gold, a light and heavy, wide thumb print rests over some of the ink.
