In the heat of the rebellion, several characters have put up propaganda around town that cast the Watch and Spellguard in a reasonably bad light. Most of these have been deleted, and replaced with an italicized this note has been torn down. Is a DM erasing these? As someone who write various sorts of propaganda and enjoys seeing some of EFU's political conflict play out and linger, I find that possibility rather distasteful. Part of the appeal of these sorts of posts is that they draw other players in and expose characters who would normally stick to questing to the rich conflicts of the mod.

So if it is a DM, and not a coincidence that this happened several times within a fairly short amount of time, I recommend the following: instead of glibly erasing someone's hard work, make a post in that thread with the same 'surly looking Watchmen tear down most of these notices' message.

Ultimately we would like you to keep in mind that during this era in EfU's history, any notices you place in Upper Sanctuary which are contraversial and rebellious in nature, especially with the density of Watchmen and Spellguard Agents about, are highly unlikely to survive and we would really like these postings to be supervised in-game.

Alternatively, you can place these posts in the Lower Sanctuary forums, where we can almost guarantee that they will not be touched

The issue with what you said is it does literally no good. If you leave the notice up, but state it's been torn down, everyone will still read it, and use it IC, and simply state they saw it prior to it's removal.
