These are trying times for Sanctuary. Some would suggest that these last few years have been the darkest times for our fair town for many decades. Yet it is in times of trouble you learn who your true friends are. Look around you, citizens of Sanctuary, those of you who have stayed are the bedrock upon which the safety, security and prosperity of our town rests.

Think of it as a wound that needs to heal. All the rotten and infected tissue has been cut away, so that the wound can be sutured and bound for healing. So we have cut away the dissidents, the thralls and the anarchists, who seek to plunge our last bastion of safety into chaos and violence. All that is left is the clean tissue, ready to regrow into a stronger, more unified community.

We need men and women to stand up and help the cause. This is a call to all citizens to join the Peacekeeping Corps. This new entity will aid the law enforcing agencies in time of strife, help protect the walls, and work to rebuild our city. We ask all citizens who can carry a weapon or shift rubble, young and old, to volunteer to assist their city as they are able.

Approach your nearest law enforcer today and volunteer to protect and rebuild your city. Stand with others whose faith in the strength and morality of Sanctuary has never wavered, never faltered. You need not give up your normal work and duties, the Peacekeeping Corps provides ample time for citizens to complete their normal daily tasks.

The time is at hand! Step up to protect and rebuild your city. When you tell your grandchildren tales of the past, be sure to tell them that when the hour was darkest, when Sanctuary was surrounded by her foes, it was you who stepped up to the challenge, it was you how stood in the breach, it was you spoke out and said "No more!"
