I'll explain the recipe in question to the DMs in a PM. I mix the reagents and get a "these components produce nothing useful" response, when I know they work, I checked it with another PC< and I made the item to that same recipe only yesterday. It's not a "fail" message, it's a "doesn't work" one.

Word-for-word were the items used the same?

Did you use the same container or placeable, and tools?

Remember that there are three or four different kinds of crafting, and that each uses different sets of equipment and recipes.
