Would placing a little chair known as the AFK chair in the various inn's of the game be out of character?
It would allow a player to sit on it thus signalling his afk status and avoid situations of being talked to for ten hours, the other person getting offended because he thinks he's ignored,etc...

Just log off. -.-
I encourage the same, although I can still go AFK for hours at an end, as most have noticed.

Yeah. "AFK chair" is a bit of an immersion killer.

And boy do you know how to idle. One of the perks of being a DM is being able to see Coldburn standing or sitting for hours in a private room.

Logging off poses a problem...I can only connect once in ten zillion tries because i time out too soon so when I am connected I like to stay connected.
Does anyone else have this same problem?
(I agree though on the immersion killer side)

People who sit AFK, are known to have clothes fall off or at times have been chewed on by bats or rats.

And with the server population peeking so often right now, it would be nice to log out if you don't plan on playing for awhile, so others may enjoy it as well.

Be thankful I don't emote what I'm doing on my own. :)

And I'm glad I came back just in time, or you'd have killed me. 8)

I don't think that this idea is right for our server. Thanks for the suggestion, though. Locking this now, so it's easier for me to quickly sort through and see which suggestions are still active.
