Is there away to limit the number of quests a person can trigger?
The other night, someone had trigger at least 3 quests all about the same time. I know they had Boggs and the Masolium (spelled that really wrong) and I think the Animatron quest all triggered. That leaves the rest of us lower levels just standing around waiting for them to finish up.
(I know it was the same person and when you trigger it it says...this quest currently taken by.....)
If not, aside from getting a Dm is there something the other players can do? I try not to send tells, especially about IN GAME stuff.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be possible to check out multiple party-based quests at once, and this most certainly sounds like something you should contact a DM about, especially in-game while it's happening. I might even move this to bug reports after I do a bit of asking around...

This happens occasionally although I haven't noticed it recently.
A group going to one quest will pick up a few on their way, and therefore tie up the quests.
If there is no DM around there is not much you can do as it is usually a nuub who does not know about the server and picks up lots of quests like in OC.
Sending tells may just make them angry, happened before, or might enlighten them depending upon the level of maturity they have.

Remember that they may be blissfully unaware that taking a quest makes other players unable to do the quest for that time. Also, some new players may forget or not even know to talk to the questgiver for a reward at the end! Anyway, as the saying goes "never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance"... be nice. 8)

If that was the case, it'd be impossible to take on the gnoll chef quest because that quest is triggered while inside the regular gnoll quest.
Is it possible for opened or abandoned quests to expire? Like say, if a quest is opened but the QA isn't empty for two hours straight, it gets automatically closed? More than once I've seen Boggs or the Salvage Pit remained openedfor eight hours plus by people who go in but log out mid-quest.
