Salutations
My name is Tasmar Cobbwinkle, and I want to be the Official Librarian and Curator of the Sanctuary Librarian. I am a master illusionist, and a researcher of all things unseen or clandestine in sight. I have been a Sanctuary citizen for as long as matters, and have extended family in the residential district (we are all very strong supporters of Sir Gimminy for the council). I am a non-partisan librarian, meaning I serve no group in the city (except the Council, and Sir Gimminy) and have no bias for taking over the library.
My plans are simple, but encompassing.
- Hire people to make a map of the entire Underdark for public display
- Start collections of certain material, such as religious dogmas written by priests of the deities themselves
- Catalogue every group in the city and their membership for public display
- Start a heroic adventure section, where epicly true adventure stories are kept forever for our children to read
- Write a more in depth history for our city, starting with cataloging every councillor since the formation of the council, including major events in the city
- Acquire a source of funding independant from the council so that I do not strain funds with my brilliant ideas
- Conduct certain fund-raising events sponsored by groups in the city, ranging from somewhat droll tale telling competitions, to exciting delves into unknown areas in the name of progress
- Acquire a collection of works so large and comprehensive, that the Gods of Knowledge bestow boons upon me for extended illusionary development projects
- Create the first illusionary desk and illusionary lock for protection!
Since I am running against no one, you should all just approve me quickly so that I can start improving the city one page at a time.
