I was thinking about all those 'grimy maps' with the initials 'FB' that used to turn up in the cart outside the Stand on a regular basis, and realised that new players to the server often had a hard time locating Ivylsar of the Seekers when they arrived.
I suppose it made them ask questions and mingle with other players in game, instead of spamming NPCs for info; but it would be immensely frustrating for a new player to not have a contact point for a map in their hand given to them from the very 'opening' of the module (Nurl? the Duergar trader gives the map, does he?).
Simply put: could the FB grimy map Fed-Ex quest be now linked to Michael Bresley in Seeker Hall?
Just a thought to encourage new players to meet the 'big guns' in Sanc, and get them rolling, so to speak.

It's a good idea, but for IG reasons I don't think Michael Bresley would be in such a position

Link to Philip Meet then?

In general, I think it's better if players have to work to meet big NPCs. It makes more of a dramatic impact when the Sheriff (or whatever) first reveals himself to shakes your character's hand after you help repel an invading tribe of orogs than if you've seen him a hundred times on a scripted quest.

True. Good point, Scalebane.
I saw Azzam for the first time in a trial held in the Watch House. He was certainly imposing; simply through lack of direct exposure, and his reputation.
