My fellow citizens of Sanctuary, I return to you now with great sadness and also great hope. I am appalled to hear of the tragedies that have come to pass and give my deepest gratitudes to those that have worked so hard to combat a terrible a foe as Phandiates.

All should thank the Watchmen that remain honest and pure of mind, the Spellguard for their determination to set things right, the Great Shadow Death for his protection from the perils of the Underdark, and the adventurers that have seen us through thick and thin. I hope that my return shall turn the tides of misfortune to our favor. Now is the time that we do what we do best.

Persist. Survive. Build and maintain.
