Switching from 2H to a shield/1h for taunting and then 2H okay in a variable role and aggro changing encounter? The shield and/1her are the lightest possible (less than 7 pounds combined) and the character seems dexterous and strong enough to do it, and it is reasonable if you want to just jeer and poke at the enemy with your weapon hand not defending that you would want a shield to block. I have a build that usually has me switching from tank to sneak attacker to tank depending on the situation.
Something like this: (Not aggroed) [Sneak Attack]>>> (Just got aggroed by everything) [Meleeing]>>>[2h to 1h]>>>[Taunt]>>>[Disengaged from Taunt]>>>[Switch to 2h]>>>[Activate stances that disengage]>>>[Reengage with 2h and taunt in 3 or 6 rounds depending on success]>>>[Taunt is up and needed]>>>[Meleeing]>>>[2h to 1h][Taunt]>>>[Disengaged from Taunt]>>>[Switch to 2h]>>>[Activate stances that disengage]>>>[Reengage with 2h and taunt in 3 or 6 rounds depending on success]
This is with a light shield and a light weapon with less than 7 pounds combined and assuming a sheath for the 2her and assuming momentum/strength to place it in it's holder and dexterous enough to whip out the small shield and light weapon on the character's side at the same time.
Edit: Changed 4 to 7 pounds
