This faction is great, truly. It has recently been drastically reduced in PC numbers and has lots of room for anybody with a character that has respect for nature. You do not need to be a hippy and, in fact, you don't have to even be a druid to join the group. There are guardians (non-druids) and those of the circle (druids). There has been a great deal of interest lately and I would urge you to make the final decision and get in on this. A plethora of plots are just waiting for any that join so hop in. Most of this is reiteration.

Re-read Howland's posts for a bit more information and ask a number of any people about it if necessary, including myself or a few of the dms. Any of the former or current players of the faction can help you come up with ideas and goals if you are stuck or unsure that you can think of something.

If you have not tried a druid character yet, I highly suggest it.

Sleyph was my first druid and I was actually amazed at how much you can accomplish in the wilds, if you want to explore the server and you're sick of the city. Make a nature type character and join the stewards.

Even if you don't want to join, it's a great faction to tag along with. If you're a Ranger, they know the location of some very useful kit and areas, and it's well worth being friendly with them.

They've got involved in a lot of plots (it was Stewards who set up the Quarantine Zone Lately) and they attract some cool concepts.

We also fight abberations way more than the Society.
