Pasted over the top of what appears to be one of Milmamir's 'Wands of the Crying God' posters, located on the bulletin board inside the Town Hall, can be found the following notice...
Milmamir has died and gone beyond us.Blessed is Sanctuary to have had the life and services of Milmamir, Eternal Servant of Imater the Crying God - a good and meek soul who walked among us.
Never a harsh word spoken. Always with open arms to heal the sick, the neglected, the poor, the rich, the injured. Never a judgement and always encouragement to those who seek to do good in Sanctuary, and equally to those who choose to stray.
Be it known that on the 20th of Tarsahk, 153, Milmamir called and led a party to hunt the aberrant hook horrors, nesting in our Mines. Let all hear that on this dark this chosen of Ilmater took to the frontline willingly in the face of overwhelming odds and fell defending those who were weaker in spirit than he.
To delve into the moment of his transition briefly, to know the quality of our unknown leaders in Sanctuary, I tell you this:.. Only moments before he fell the good Milmamir was asked if hook horrors were telepathic, as some of the Sanctuarians present sought his noble wisdom in order to better understand the chittering enemy. Our Holy Elder Saint replied: "I believe the den mother communicates with every other member in the nest." At which point a large and ferocious hook horror, touting an aura of palpable fear, confronted us - presumably the den mother had heard his answer and sought to remove our Wise Elder directly.
Milmamir never ran. He took to the dread beast in grand style wielding his mace as if he were Ilmater himself, crying out to instill justice and healing in the misguided where it has been constantly refused them. He fell to the many blows of the Horrible Den Mother and her brood. His body was located and retrieved by Watchmen and Concerned Sanctuary Citizens and taken to New Dunwarren, where his only surviving close friends live, being Ordinant Makabi and Ordinant Bobbus.
When he passed Milmamir left numerous incredible possessions behind and has willed them to those he felt needed them. Let it be known, that though it is indescribable the void his passing has revealed to us, his healing wands were exhausted fully to save many of the brave men and women who fought in the Temple of Tyr, last cycle, to remove the Moanderite Lizardmen and their powerful leader. It would seem that Ilmater and the Triad worked hand in hand in this battle to reveal champions of right and good in the heart of Sanctuary.
Let it be known that there are still souls of the highest valour and faith that have chosen New Dunwarren as their home despite the unbreakable curse inflicted upon it. Please give our hopes, prayers, and blessings to the Ordinants who remain there in the wake of the slaughter of the citizens of New Dunwarren.
In the spirit of the final wishes of Milmamir.
This I declare to be the truth: Seen with the Uncommon Aid of Ilmater and the Holy Triad, through the Agency of Mystra and Corellon Larethian.
Surely our Sanctuary is truly blessed with divine graces despite the dark designs levelled upon it and embedded deep within it.
