My name is Vera Lynn. I'm not a hero, I'm not special. I'm no different from any of you. I grew up in upper, I lived in the canal, I lost my family to the unseelie. I have lived, loved, and lost just like the rest of you. I know what life here is like. Recent events have made me see that I need to do everything I can, because the people who live here, are important to me. The city alone, is ugly, It's barren. But the people here, all the different people from all kinds of wonderful and beautiful places - They make Sanctuary alive, they make it beautiful.

It's up to us to keep it that way, to make sure these people remain safe. We all have things we can do to help. My father taught me to fight, and so when people need protecting, I protect them. My mother taught me to listen, so when people need a caring ear, I can soothe them.

I have fought for the city, I've done my best to protect you all. I've listened and tried to help people whenever I can. I want to protect you, I want to listen to what you need, to help keep you all happy. Let me be your voice on the council, and Together we can keep Sanctuary beautiful, make it -safe- again.
