I agree with you about Upper. Their watchman, Alejandro, threatened to kill me just for killing a drow that had bested him in a duel. And no one batted an eyelash! Not one of the Uppers standing there, including the spellguard agent Symbaern, cared.

I now consider Lower my home, for the time being. I would help defend it, against Chosen and whatever else.

Let me know what threatens us, and let me know what actions you intend to take.

I believe that a good first start would be to pool gold to hire Murcenaries to patrol the streets of Lower, and perhaps even have one posted at the stairway to Upper. Right now they are idle in the canal ward, and with ghyrrt dead, they are likely free to accept another contract. Hopefully we can meet in person and discuss these matters.
