Be it known that before many witnesses, Private Garcia dueled a drow swordmaster and lost. The drow was my superior in combat as well, but I persevered with the aid of some powerful potions. At this Private Garcia called me a filthy whore who had stolen his chance at absolution and swore he would make me pay one day soon.

He never even asked me to not duel the drow, or to throw the fight, and I had no idea of his feelings on this matter until he uttered them.

Therefore, in the interests of absolution, I offer to the good Private Garcia a duel void of any items of magic, potions, scrolls, or anything at all except for standard worn equipment. Hopefully this will sate his sense of honor so that he may continue to protect Sanctuary as is his duty, rather than indulging his lust for duels and "absolutions."
