I inquired into the possibility of becoming a member of the staff at your school, and was directed to write a letter to you. Admittedly, I am no equal to this priestess of Tempus in battle, but what I lack in prowess I think I may be able to compensate for in terms of finely honed technique. For those too weak or too poor for full plate armor, I am able to provide lessons in the combat style of the Archendale aristocracy, particularly a variant of such invented by Master Jorniman of the River Arkhen Academy, which favors use of the longsword over the rapier.
