The time is looming close to election time, and I seek to announce that I will run for a third and final term.

It has been a challenging term. Terrorist acts, Chosen threats from below, monsters running amok. But these things are being calmed, order established. Those that put our city at jeopardy, that threaten us... all fall apart in the end. Our city succeeds, and continues to do so.

I will continue to ensure our defenders are able, capable, and ready to thwart the forces of disorder, the criminal element that threatens our peaceful existence.

I will continue to pursue treaties and arrangements that are for the benefit of this city, such as the Bunge Arrangement that financed half of our new gate.

I will continue to be, a notable feat in these dangerous times. The blades of the assassins have thus far failed. They will continue to do so.

I will continue to fight enthrallment in Sanctuary. Having been the lead proponent on the Council for illithid thrall control, containment, and removal, I will continue to keep these elusive men-turned-monster away from our people and from harming our city.

I will continue to support the strengthening of our city and expanding our resources. We must be strong and able, prepared for the worst. This is the Underdark, after all.
