Inquiry: [For general overview, members of the Hold] 18th day of Hammer in the year 151 Agent Delgado

According to recent posts I have seen on bulletin boards within Sanctuary, I am lead to believe that the Hold holds information concerning an ancient svirfneblin artefact - A stone wheel of sorts. The Spellguard have retrieved a part of this artefact and would like the cooperation of the Hold in discovering it's true nature and finding further parts of the artefact. As far as I have been able to discern, the artefact is somehow associated with the element Grumbar represents, Earth. It is my belief that our cooperation would ensure that items such as this do not find their way into the hands of dangerous individuals such as the gnome Zantern.

I welcome your letter in knowing and understanding that another piece of something we hold sacred has been found, and kept out of the hands of those who are cursed by our Faith.

Indeed the relics hold a power drawn of the Earth and the Stone, elements which were respected and honored by the old inhabitants of this city. I have good evidence which proves that the city once was defended, for a long while, by Faith in the Realm of Grumbar rather than the mechanisms we currently see within the streets. As you should know, the machinations were a recent addition, and the gnomes fractured and the group that remained last and then fled used the machines in an abandonment of their Faith, and the city fell for it. Though I am sure alchemy can resolve a few of the secrets, I am certain that Faith and Prayer will reveal much on a relic that draws from the domain and perview of our Lord.

We should meet soon, to discuss the things that will need to be done. And know as well, that if Sanctuary is every in need I pledge my aid in defending a city which serves to house many of the faithfull of the Lord of Earth and Stone.

Greetings members of Grumbar's faith, once again I write to you to express my willingness to assist you with the collection and assembly of the svirfneblin earth artefact that seems to be on everyone's lips these days. As stated previously in my correspondence to your church, the Spellguard currently holds a part of this artefact. We would be willing to work with The Hold to discover it's true nature and to discover the remaining parts of the artefact. I believe it would be in the best interest of Sanctuary our two organizations work together on this matter since it appears that this artefact touches upon both our areas of expertise. I believe personally that the artefact would be best kept in The Hold until required for use to assist Sanctuary, but the Spellguard would none the less need to examine it both before and after assembly to make sure that it is not capable of threatening the safety of Sanctuary. Which I'm sure it will not, in the capable hands of the priests of Grumbar.
