Letter to Winnie

As I promised, the novelisation of the incident. I plan to connect this to a bigger entirety as time goes on and the general plotline of the story will be more obvious. Hope you like it!

Andre Reyarm

The Princess Brutal

After the nervous Svirfneblin had led Winnies's group of brave individuals through a series of dirty alleyways filled with broken furniture, blood and a rotten smell, they finally descended lower inside the Sanctuary.

The air was filled with excitement and Winnie had the feeling that something was going to happen soon. The group's scout returned to inform the rest of the group that there were indeed dozens of the wererats known as the Chosen ahead.

Magic was sparkling in the air as the princess drank some potions and used a series of magical trinkets. A furious battlecry eminated from her mouth as she then suddenly charged at the Chosen. She bravely took the first hit, a Chosen claw scratching her left arm. She simply grunted, giving the Chosen a finishing blow with her warhammer, crushing the Chosen's head into small pieces, sending brainmatter flying all across the street. The fight was quickly over.

Winnie led the group to the Svirfneblins who they had been hired to save. After a quick conversation, the streets were filled with rattling again. Winnie knew the Chosen had gathered enough courage to attempt an attack again. Andre mentioned that he was glad that this time they had a barrage as their shelter, giving them great advantage.

Andre was soon to find out that he couldn't have been more wrong. Winnie didn't care for the shelter and simply charged through the barrage out into the open! Andre had no chance but to watch in awe as the battle was quickly raging again. Five Chosen started swinging their claws at Winnie, but little did she care, sending back blows almost as fast as the five Chosen in total.

Arrows, bolts and bullets flew through the air for several minutes and it seemed as if the endless stream of Chosen would never cease their attack. Even Winnie had taken a few hits by now, but nothing seemed to bother her. The Chosen soon realized they had no chance but to retreat, leaving the winners to collect their spoils.

Dearest Andre

I love it! Almost makes me wish we hadn't burned down the Library.
