Friendships are odd like that dear. I must say, that you have disappointed me. Your actions of late have wounded me gravely, and trust within friendships does take time to mend.

Given that there is still a bounty of five thousand gold upon my head, which you seem to support, I cannot say that matters look good for the renewal of our friendship, but this letter is a start.

I'm ever so sorry that my actions have wounded you so. As such I'll give you one more hint, no more though! The piece of machine your overlooking is very close to home.

You could probably see it from your silly tower if you stood in the right spot! It's very interesting that you haven't located it yet! It's an incredibly useful tool to say the least.

Also of course I support the bounty on your head dearest. Just because we're friends doesn't mean I wouldn't be willing to/be in favor of killing you. You have to understand my position, just as I understand yours. Alas if only there were another way for us to be out of each others hair.
