I was just curious, should I lose the ability to advance in druid levels (Break the oath, wear metal, change alignment, any of those), would I also lose Shifter abilities and the advancement of it?
The philosophies of the two are quite different, and numerous opportunities challenge both classes, I was just curious what would happen if for all intents and purposes I lost druidic powers, if I would still be a shifter.

This would depend upon the IG actions which led to the loss. In general, however, probably.

Not meaning to usurp DC completely, but I'd say the "probably" isn't quite as probable as it may seem there. This is largely based on IG actions, and depending on the circumstances there may be a high probability of losing druidic abilities but continuing to remain a shifter.

Probably may have been a bit extreme, yes.

Yes, because you need wildshape to be a shifter, and losing it would mean loss of shifter abilities.

Alright, Cool, Thanks.
Not that I was planning on something Haha, I was just freshening up on some of the rule stuff, and didn't find anything on it so it sparked my curiosity.
Big issue was mostly the armor, since a lot of the shifts downgrade dexterity, but boost con and str, was debating weighing the merits of grabbing heavy armor or some metal chainmail to better operate in other forms, since they left my AC a bit lower than I had hoped for.

But, if your natural polymorph requirement came from another source you wouldn't lose the Shifter abilities.
